Transcript Services & Evaluations

MTCNE offers transcript services for alumni seeking a Montessori transcript and for adult learners requesting a translation of AMI coursework into a graduate transcript for the University of Hartford. In addition, MTCNE can complete an AMI course equivalency evaluation for students seeking a MACTE certification of their AMI diploma.

Pass/Fail Transcripts

The Montessori Training Center Northeast will provide alumni with a certified pass/fail transcript upon request. All requests are processed through the main office. Shipping and handling costs for all orders are the responsibility of the student.

AMI Coursework Translation Requests (University of Hartford Graduate Studies)

The Montessori Training Center Northeast processes enrollment verification letters and Montessori graduate transcripts for the University of Hartford.

The Training Center will cover the cost of the enrollment verification/transcript processing fees for MTCNE students and alumni.  For all other students, the following processing fees must be paid prior to paperwork being delivered to the University of Hartford.

  • *If you paid $100 in processing fees for the Enrollment Verification Letter, the Montessori Graduate Transcript processing fee is adjusted to $300.

AMI Course Equivalency Evaluation (MACTE)

MTCNE will complete an AMI course equivalency evaluation upon request.

Email your request to mtcneinfo@crec.org with the subject line: AMI Course Equivalency Evaluation/MACTE and include the following attachments:

  • Official AMI Coursework Transcript *
  • A copy of the AMI Diploma
  • Current Resume that includes all work experience

The fee for this service at MTCNE is $150.00 and is due at the time of the evaluation.  Payment instructions will be sent upon receipt of the evaluation request. Please note this fee is in addition to the MACTE adult learner fee that is paid directly to MACTE.

*Official AMI Coursework Transcripts must be delivered/emailed to mtcneinfo@crec.org directly from the Training Center.

MTCNE holds accredited status for its Early Childhood and Elementary I-II Montessori teacher education certification course levels from the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE). MTCNE does not hold accredited status for its Infant and Toddler Montessori teacher education certification course level with MACTE.
