Courtney Reim

Dr. Courtney Reim serves as the Managing Director at the Montessori Training Center Northeast (MTCNE). Courtney embarked on her educational journey with a B.S. in Business from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder. After more than a decade in corporate finance and sales, she made the transition to education. Courtney completed the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) Primary 3-6 teacher training and spent five years as a Primary Directress before taking on an administrative role at the Training Center.

Courtney holds a graduate degree in Early Childhood Education with a Montessori Concentration and a Doctor of Education degree specializing in Educational Leadership from the University of Hartford. Her research interests encompass teacher preparation, Montessori pedagogy, teacher dispositions, and education for peace, among others. Furthermore, she serves as a Research Fellow for the Center for Montessori Studies at the University of Hartford.

Driven by her passion for Montessori education, Courtney is committed to advocating for teachers and the children and families they serve.

Courtney loves being outdoors, treasures family time, and enjoys art, food, travel, and all things historical.
