Sponsorship Opportunities for Montessori Teacher Training

Many Montessori schools recognize the value of investing in future educators and are interested in sponsoring candidates who are committed to joining their school communities. Sponsorship opportunities vary by school and are based on finding the right fit between the candidate and the school’s needs.

If you are passionate about Montessori education and seeking financial support for AMI training, exploring sponsorship opportunities could be a great path forward. Schools offering sponsorships typically look for candidates who align with their philosophy, values, and long-term staffing needs.

To learn more about schools currently seeking candidates for sponsorship, visit AMI/USA’s Sponsorship List. If you are a school interested in sponsoring a candidate, we encourage you to reach out to MTCNE’s Managing Director to explore potential partnerships.

Montessori Schools of Massachusetts (MSM) Gail Supanich Memorial Scholarship

Montessori Schools of Massachusetts, as part of its commitment to member schools, has established a scholarship program to promote the training of Montessori teachers.  MSM is happy to be able to award 1 scholarship of $5,000 to an applicant who otherwise would not have the opportunity to take Montessori training.  This scholarship will be awarded to an applicant who is entering training and who demonstrates both a commitment to Montessori education and financial need. Applicants must be enrolled in MACTE/AMI approved training program.

Montessori Training Center Northeast Scholarship Funds

The Montessori Training Center Northeast (MTCNE) offers two distinct scholarship funds, managed by the CREC Foundation, to support students seeking AMI training, either as a stand-alone credential or as part of a degree pathway at the University of Hartford. These funds reflect our commitment to increasing diversity and providing access to high-quality AMI training for underrepresented groups in the Montessori teaching field. Through these scholarships, we aim to create more opportunities for individuals who are passionate about Montessori education but face financial barriers, helping to build a more diverse and inclusive Montessori community.

Montessori Global Growth Fund

Grant opportunities through the Montessori Global Growth Fund (MGGF) support initiatives that expand access to high-quality Montessori education, including teacher training, program development, and community outreach. Eligible individuals and organizations can apply for funding to advance Montessori principles and create lasting impact in their communities.
