Kathleen Dian Soussou
Auxiliary Trainer
With a background in public education in France and a CAPES certification in English as a foreign Language, Kathleen Soussou began her teaching journey in middle and high schools before discovering the Montessori approach. She is an AMI-certified Montessori educator for the 3–6 age group (trained at MISD, San Diego), and has spent over eight years working in bilingual classrooms, where she supports children’s development through language, independence, and meaningful connection.
Now a Montessori teacher trainer in training at the Montessori Training Center of the Northeast (MTCNE), she shares her experience with adult learners while continuing to learn herself. Her work is enriched by specialized training in dyslexia support through the Lindamood-Bell programs (Seeing Stars and Visualizing and Verbalizing), as well as in Positive Discipline for both parents and educators.
Passionate about inclusion and the uniqueness of every child, she is a lifelong learner dedicated to deepening her understanding of pedagogy and human development. Her goal is to create spaces—both for children and adults—where curiosity, compassion, and growth are central.
