Adolescent (12-18 years) Diploma Program

The AMI 12-18 Diploma Program is a comprehensive program designed to equip educators with the skills and knowledge necessary to work with students ages 12 to 18 years following the Montessori philosophy and principles. This program incorporates lectures, supervised practice, fieldwork, a literature review, a residential experience and work on a farm.

The MTCNE Trainers work with colleagues in the region who support adolescent development using two models: a farm-based program and an urban, public school land-based program.

Next Program Offering: Summer 2027, featuring a 3 week residential practicum.

The details for the next 12-18 (Adolescent) Diploma Program will available winter 2026.
