Jin Huang’s Update
A Vision Realized
Jin Huang’s Montessori Journey: From Mother to Founder, From Student to Leader

Two decades ago, Jin Huang was searching for the best possible education for her young son. That journey led her to the Montessori philosophy—and ultimately to Hartford, where she became a member of the second Primary cohort at MTCNE, trained by renowned AMI trainer Shannon Helfrich.
Armed with a deep understanding of Montessori’s principles and a passion for building community, Jin returned to Westborough, MA, and founded eBridge Montessori School in 2005.
This May, eBridge celebrated its 20th anniversary with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that brought together teachers, alumni, families, and community leaders. From an initial class of 17 children to a vibrant school with 12 classrooms serving infants through upper elementary, eBridge has become a beacon of Montessori education in the region.
For Jin, the real impact of this milestone came into focus when she began hearing from former students—now thriving at institutions like Harvard, MIT, and the U.S. Naval Academy. “These are their formative years,” she reflected, “and we made an impact.”
Jin credits her MTCNE experience as formative not only to her practice but to the school’s success. “Montessori education gives children a solid foundation,” she says. “If they have that, they will continue to grow.”
As eBridge celebrates 20 years, we are proud to honor Jin Huang—an MTCNE alumna whose vision, dedication, and leadership continue to inspire.
